Highlights from the current issue:

Advocacy, Epilepsy, Kids Speak Up

Fifty kids with epilepsy, representing 39 states across the country, descended on Washington to tell their stories to legislators and increase public awareness about epilepsy. Dubbed the "rock stars of the conference", which runs in conjunction with a Public Policy Institute to educate parents, community leaders and volunteers on advocacy strategies, the kids did speak up—loud and clear.

"Funding from 20 and 30 years ago enabled Bob to have a successful frontal lobectomy and now he's seizure-free, thanks in large part to the investment our legislators make in epilepsy research."
