Talk to Us

Live Chat Event: Transcript of May 2, 2006 Event Available!

Talk to us and to each other. Use this discussion forum, attend chat events or submit an announcement about your current efforts.

Discussion Forum

The Foundation's eCommunities has threaded discussion forums where you can post ideas and opinions and get to know other young people with epilepsy from around the United States ... and the world. The Teen Forum was created especially for people up to 19 years old.

Please create a user account, if you don't have one already. The best User IDs are short (5-10 characters) and have no special characters (capital letters, spaces, punctuation).

Registering is free, and you can use the same User ID every time you participate in the forums. Register Now!

If you are under age 13, be sure to get permission from your parents to participate.

Remember: do not share your home address or telephone number in your posts. Report anything that seems suspicious to efmoderator@efa.org, and we will take care of it.

Chat Event

Our first live online chat event was hosted by Board of Directors Youth Advisor Elizabeth Goldberg on May 2, 2006.  Participants discussed speaking up, eliminating stigma, the recent Kids Speak Up! conference in Washington, D.C., geocaching, camps and more! The transcript is available for those who could not join us.

Polls

We will feature surveys to get your input on future programs and to find out what you think.

Submit Your Current Projects

We want to know what you are doing to increase awareness about epilepsy. Whether it's having a lemonade stand to raise money, participating in your local Epilepsy Foundation's walk, talking to your elected representatives, giving a presentation in the classroom, or something else ... we would like to help you make these projects successful and to spread good ideas throughout the country.

Using the form below, let us know what you are doing and how to follow up with you. The form is secure and the information you put in will go directly to Epilepsy Foundation staff. Each month, we will feature a new submission on In the Spotlight.

Submit today... the spotlight could be on you!
