Video: House Majority Leader Introduces ADA Restoration Act of 2007

WASHINGTON, DC, July 26, 2007 -- On the 17th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disability Act, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (MD) introduced the ADA Restoration Act of 2007, legislation to ensure the rights of individuals to be judged based on performance. It restores the original intent of Congress, harmonizing the ADA with other civil rights laws and requiring the courts to interpret the law fairly. (Transcript)
